Last weekend I actually had some fun, for maybe the first time in, oh months. I left work early Friday and drove to the cities with my mom for a Twins game with my family. It was my first time in the new Target Field. It was AMAZING!!! I froze my butt off, and we lost, but it was worth it I think. It's hard to describe, but it's awesome. Open air, skyline views, floors of interesting booths and things to see. For example, on one floor there was a Mickey Mouse statue and Lady Liberty painted in Twins logos/pictures. By gate 14 is Hrbek's bar/restaurant with part of the original floor from the Minnesota Laker days, along with memorabilia. All around the stadium there were stands, people, seats, chances to win things. It was pretty awesome. My brother took me behind home base and it was neat to see the players and field up close. I also went to the top of our stands and got to see the Budweiser roof, with built in "warmers" or enclosed fire place type things. Tip, buy the lowest ticket possible and wonder. There are so many places you can go and stand and watch the game at a better level and not have to pay for it. Of course you have to be able to stand, but it's easy to do and much warmer on a cool night. I'll try to include some pictures soon.
On Saturday we went to an orchard, which my niece and nephew loved! It was a little expensive, although not as much as others, but was very nice for kids. There was a hay ride around to the different places to pick apples, a play-ground, a tire mound with tunnels to play on, hay mounds, a cow train and of course a store for the adults, as well as sample of the apples and apple butter. Super nice and overall not too expensive, although the apples cost by the pound instead of the peck or bag or whatever it is called. Still, overall good time.
Sunday we came home. But overall, it was a very fun, relaxing weekend. Too bad I had to go back to work. ARG Work!

This is a picture from the net. I'll include some of mine soon.
